Can I use a non-Yamo number as my caller ID (ANI) in 3CX?

Your caller ID (also known as ANI) is used by a call recipient to identify you. Yamo requires you to prove ownership of a phone number in order to use it as your outbound caller ID (ANI). As Australian law evolves and catches up with changes in technology, this may not always be the case.

As such, we highly recommend transferring ownership of your existing numbers to Yamo via a process called number porting. You can raise a number port request by opening a case with our support team.

If however you would like to change your caller ID to a non-Yamo number, please raise a case with our support team.
