Outbound caller ID refers to the phone number that is displayed on a recipients device when you place a call to an external number from your 3CX system.
How to set outbound caller ID
Outbound caller ID is set by extension. You will need to edit each extension separately.
1. As an administrator, log in to the 3CX Management Console.
2. Click Extensions on the left-hand menu.
3. Click the extension that you want to edit.
4. Under User Information → Outbound Caller ID, set the desired outbound caller ID. The phone number needs to conform to E.164 format (e.g. +61212341234). This value must represent a valid fixed number.
