As part of the 3CX Management console, you have the ability to add and remove extensions from ring groups or call queues as needed to do so, we have outlined the steps to add and remove an extension below.
Adding a user
Once you have logged into the management console, please follow the below steps:
- Click on Ring groups or Call queue on the left-hand side depending on which one is used
- Select the ring group or call queue you would like to add an extension to
- Under the "Group Members" section, click on the blue + Add button for call queues this will be the "Agents" tab
- Select all users you would like to add, then click on ok.
- Lastly up the top of the page, click on the blue ok button to save these
Removing a user
Once you have logged into the management console, please follow the below steps:
- Click on Ring groups or call queue on the left-hand side
- Select the ring group or call queue you would like to remove this extension from
- Under the "Group Members" section, navigate to the user you want to remove. This will be "Agents" for call queues
- Click on the x on the far right-hand side that corresponds to their name
- Lastly up the top of the page, click on the blue ok button to save these
