Saving a recorded Meeting

As part of 3CX Web meetings you have the ability to record a web meeting, you can do this by selecting the circle on the top menu bar as shown below.

Saving the recording

Once you have clicked on the start recording button and had the meeting, you can click the same button to stop the recording, from there, once everyone has left the meeting please end the meeting. This will then begin the process of converting the meeting from it's raw data to a viewable .mp4 format. This is a CPU intensive process so this may take some time to complete.

After this has finished you will be sent an email with the link to view the recording, please note that this recording will last for a period of 7 days, after which this will be deleted. You may look at the recording by clicking on the web link in your email. I have included an example of the email sent to the meeting organiser below:

Once you have clicked on the link the recording will play on a new tab, to save this, please click the 3 dots on the bottom right and click on mceclip2.pngthis will then save to your computer, please note, depending on the length of the meeting and the time it may take a while to download.
