Update keys option in Yealink web interface

Some customers open a ticket asking help to add, edit, delete a line key feature in Yealink handsets. These changes can be performed on customer's end by accessing the device web interface (GUI). The following step by step guide will walk the customer through to accomplish the desired changes.

  • Obtain the ip address of the handset
    • Click the OK button and scroll down to IPv4, this should be the ip address of the device
  • Open a browser
    • Enter the ip address to the address bar
  • When prompted to sign-in
    • Username: admin
    • Password: (Yamo support will provide upon replying on the email request)

  • Once logged in, select Line Key or Ext Key
    • Line Key - displays on the small screen of the handset
    • Ext Key - expansion module which has a separate screen
  • Edit the keys accordingly and click Confirm

Line Key

  • Label is where to input the extension name, could be first and last name

Ext. Key

  • Label is where to input the extension name, could be first and last name
